K-Palette 24H Tattoo Eyeliner #1 Jet Black [REVIEW]

I have been quite busy lately with our third exam (just done) and Duty Office Internship coming up tomorrow. I was placed on Kalimalang Primary Branch which is quite far from where I am staying at the moment, will talk about it in details on a separate post.

Now, I have been raving about the greatness of K-Palette 24H liner!
I have previously owned one, in brown shades, check it out here.
I honestly bought my previous liner on luxola.com and had it delivered to me via a visiting friend.

I have been looking for the liner for ages since my last liner run out of 'ink' LOL
I finally found one on Online shop! Although sadly they didn't have the brown shades.
I am quite OK with the black one, so I purchased it.

There is a manufactured date sticked on the bottom on.

Mine stated March 2015, which is quite recent.

K-Palette 24H Eyeliner Pointy Brush
The brush is pointy but not too rigid which I like as it doesn't hurt my eyelid.

I smudge it couple of times and it still maintain its glorious line!
I love it!!
It really live up to its name 24 Hours Eyeliner Tattoo!
It doesn't stray no matter how much I smudge my eyes or cry, it still stay strong till the end of the day!
This will be my forever beloved eyeliner brand of all time! <3

Real Technique Stippling Make Up Brush!!

Have been busy with my new job and settling down in Jakarta and adapting to my new company. I am having a really great time and I feel valued! which is a really really good things! Anyway, let's start with the  product review.

I am going to review the Real Technique Stippling Makeup Brush. I never own a foundation brush before. I have never ever use any sponge or brush to apply BB/CC cream before as I assume the results will be the same and those applicator is just unhygienic and troublesome to bring along, since I used to travel a lot, back then. However those opinions change the moment I meet this Real Technique Stippling Makeup Brush.

I purchased it recently from Luxola, on sale. Normally, it will cost you Rp 210,000 ($15) on normal price (Indonesia). It is a bit more expensive compared to their original price due to shipping cost and etc.

https://realtechniques.com

On their website, I found out that the stippling brush is $10 with worldwide delivery. Even if you are buying from other websites or shops, I suggests you to check their website out before your purchase. They provide videos, stories, and blogs featuring their products as well, a good additional value for us.

They provide a link to their website on their packaging as well.
I actually bought the brush without knowing about the website.

For Stippling Brush Tutorial Videos from them,
you can click here and here.

What I get from the videos:
  • The stippling brush is actually an all-rounder that can be used to apply any sort of make up, the foundation, the powder, highlighter, etc, but works best with light foundation like BB cream or tinted foundation (which is how I am going to use it for)
  • The correct motion on applying is starting from the center of your face moving outward, on big circular motion, and drag out. If you need extra coverage, just push/dab it once on the area, with whole brush facing your face.

This is the brush I owned. It looks exactly like the one on the website. I honestly love the dove and matte stump end of the brush. It can 'stand' sturdily on my dressing table. The brush is light and easy to grip.
Right: The brush is smooth, silicon brush claims to give the airbrush result even under harsh light.
Left: Cute and comfortable-to-grip 'stump' with flat end, so that you can put it upright on the table.

To show you how different the finishing results is, I tried to apply it on the palm of my hand. For a more distinctive comparison (considering the camera resolution), I also drew two tiny lines with my K-Palette 24 Hour Tattoo liner in dark brown. The coverage of course depends on the strength of the BB/CC cream used. I am using my Lee Ji Ham (LJH) CC Cream (reviewed here).

LJH CC CREAM, K-PALETTE 24 Hour Tattoo Liner, Real Technique Stippling Make Up Brush
Top Left: The back of my hand with the K-Palette 24 H Tattoo Liner in Dark Brown
Top Right: I put little dots of LJH (Lee Ji Ham) CC Cream to blend in
Bottom: On the right is the finish result of finger-application
Bottom: On the left is the finish result of Real Technique Stippling Make up Brush.

You can see the difference in the finished results from the trial picture above:
  • The finger-application techniques blends well but not distributed thoroughly. There are some parts that gets too much CC cream and there are some parts that do not get covered well (the line is thinner on top and thicker at the bottom).
  • The brush-application on the other hand, distributed the CC cream better and delivering smoother finish with less crease. The promised of airbrushed finish delivered! In addition, the colors of the CC cream blends on the skin better as well.

Review:

PriceRp 210,000 ($15)/ $10 on their website. I think the price is reasonable considering it is a durable-looking-tool which will take a while until you break it down and replace it with a new one.
Pros:
• Durable
• Deliver its promise of airbrushed finish compared to finger application
• My make up does stays longer compared to finger application
• Cheap
• Good grip
• There is a tutorial video
Cons:
• Hygiene issues. I was a bit concern as we cannot wash it everytime we are applying our BB cream (Do you wash your brush often?). I am scared that the bacterial build up will cause acne problems to my face. This issues also apply when we are traveling with it, because there is no cap or whatever to cover the brush.
Recommend: YES, absolute Yes! Even my mom was sold, when I apply BB cream with the brush on her face.
Repurchase: I am buying it for my sister!

Glamglow Supermud Review

GLAMGLOW! A mask from Hollywood, California. It comes in couple of variant. Youthful Mud (Anti-aging), Power Mud (Deep Clean), Thirsty Mud (Hydrating), Flash Mud (Brightening), and Super Mud (Clearing for trouble skin).

Glamglow Award and Winnings
Apparently its an Award Wining products.
Glamglow was originally exclusively designed for professional backstage use in Hollywood, until 2011 when it becomes available for public consumers worldwide. In no time it has become one of the hottest products on earth.

I will be reviewing the Supermud which I personally owned. I bought it on Luxola last year on sale. It is actually quite expensive. On normal price, it costs Rp 780.000 or around USD 55 for a tiny 34 gram product. I save it on;y for special occasions (all face) or when my blackheads are too much for my eyes to bear (nose area only).

Closer look to what Glamglow Supermud is:
Glamglow Supermud claims
I found myself agreeing to the results as I personally experienced them.

The product comes in a small white tube and it is literally mud. It is somewhat creamy with black/dark gray flake and it smells somewhat mint-like scent.

Glamglow Supermud
The texture is mud-like.
It turns from dark gray into soft gray after usage.

Glamglow Supermud

When I first applied it on my face, I felt a little bit of stings and my face felt like it was pulled and my pores was squeezed shut. The scent is minty but I haven't decided whether I like it or not.

I know for sure that the product is working as after around 3 minutes of using the mask, It change colors from the thick gray to lighter shades of gray. Leave if for another minutes, it turns lighter with black dots all over. Those dots are supposed to be the impurities (oil, dirt, make up residue, etc) left on your face. As you can see in the picture below, my nose areas are filled with most dots, as I have lots of blackheads there.

Psychologically, I think it was good that a product actually shows some sign that they are working, even if they are not (like tooth paste). It is just the psychological thing, tho.

Glamglow supermud review
It dries into softer gray and forms dots of impurities after couple of minutes.
I usually leave it longer then wash it off with warm water.
I would recommend to wash your face with warm water then cold water afterwards. The mud is not easy to rub off and it left black residue all over the sink. I usually mask before I took my bath, so the waste is all washed off in the bathroom.

After washing my face with warm water, I applied toner and moisturizer and I noticed immediate changes on my skin. I pores was visibly smaller and almost all of my blackheads were gone. My skin felt so smooth and it glowed healthily!
I took the picture for before after but not much changes can be seen from the photo alone. I zoomed and zoomed but the difference of blackheads existence cannot be seen clearly. So, decided not to post them. LOL.

Price: Expensive! Rp 780.000 or around USD 55
Pros:

  • It delivers its promise
  • Clear, Soft, Smooth, Blackhead-less skin

Cons:

  • Price is high

Repurchase: YES! I am saving my money for it.
Recommend: YES! Even if the price is sky high, it worth the investment!
